Explanation:

perimeter = sum of all sides

since it is a right-angled triangle, hence we can find the 3rd side using Pythagoras theorem:-

hypotenuse = √(12² + 3²)

=> √(144 + 9)

=> √153 = 3√7

perimeter = 12 + 3 + 3√7

15 + 3√7
