Answer: the answer as a fraction is 14/5

Step-by-step explanation: in order to multiply a fraction and a whole number you have to make the whole number a fraction. You do this by putting the number over one because anything divided by one is still itself. So you get 2/5 x 7/1 then you multiply across the top so 2 x 7 is 14 then multiply the bottom 5 x 1 is 5 and get the fraction 14/5
