What is the maximum of P= x +6y

Explanation:

y = (10 - 2x) / 4

y = (12 - x) / 9

Find Boundary Points:

(0,0)

(3,1)

(0,4/3)

(5,0)

Plug them into equation (DO NOT NEED (0,0) DO NOT USE):

P = 3 + 6(1) = 9

P = 0 + 6(4/3) = 8

P = 5 + 6(0) = 5

MAX VALUE: P = 9
