so

<x + <y + <z = 180

Plug in angle x.

Subtract 65 to both sides.

<y° + <z° = 180° - 65°

<y° + <z° = 115°

Since <y° = <z° we substitute one of them

<y° + <z° = 115°

<y° + <y° = 115°

Add the <y° together

2y = 115°

Divide 2 to both sides to get y by itself.

<y° = 57.5°

So <y° = <z° = 57.5°
