Answer:

Lemonade cost: $3

Iced tea cost: $2

Explanation:

Let x represent lemonade and y represent iced tea! We have equations

3x + 4y = 17

5x + 2y = 19

Times -2 to the second equation and solve for the price of lemonade!

3x + 4y = 17

-10x -4y = -38

-7x = -21

x = $3

Now put 3 back in and solve for the price of iced teas

3(3) + 4y = 17

9 + 4y = 17

4y = 8

y = $2

So, 1 lemonade cost $3

1 iced tea cost $2
