John's bicycle covers 60 inches in one revolution. What
is the radius of his tire?

The radius is equal to
(30)/(pi) or about 9.5 inches

A revolution is the same as the circumference,

which can be found using C = 2πr

C = 2πr

60 = 2πr

(2π)r = 60
