Fairy tales are often appealing because they offer a sense of magic and wonder, and they allow readers to escape into a different world. They often feature larger-than-life characters and imaginative storylines that can be both thrilling and comforting. Many fairy tales also contain elements of good vs. evil, and they often have a moral or lesson at the end, which can be satisfying for readers.

Fairy tales are also often timeless because they tap into universal themes and emotions that are relevant to people of all ages and cultures. For example, themes of love, loss, bravery, and perseverance are common in fairy tales and can resonate with readers of all ages.

I personally have many fond memories of reading and watching fairy tales as a child. I remember being captivated by the magical worlds and creatures, and I enjoyed trying to predict how the story would end based on the clues and themes present in the tale. I also remember feeling a sense of accomplishment when I was able to identify the moral or lesson at the end of the story, and I found it satisfying to see the good characters triumph over the evil ones. Overall, I think that fairy tales are appealing because they offer a sense of escapism and magic and because they speak to universal themes and emotions that are relevant to people of all ages.
