Answer: d=sqrt(41) =6.4031

Explanation:

We know that the distance between the two points (x 1 ,y 1 ) and (x 2 ,y 2 ) is

d= sqrt((x2-x1)^2 +(y2-y1)^2 )

as given

x1=2 ,x2=6 ,y1=3 ,y2=8

d=sqrt((6-2)^2+(8-3)^2 )

d= sqrt((4)^2+(5)^2

d=sqrt(16+25)

d=sqrt(41) =6.4031
