Explanation: Lysosomes would not be generated in the absence of the Golgi apparatus, and the cell would eventually die as a result of the buildup of dead and damaged molecules and organelles. Materials would no longer be packaged or transported if the Golgi apparatus were absent. The cell's secretory functions would also stop.
