It costs $1 to park at a parking lot for the first hour. It costs $1.50 to park for the second hour. After that, each additional hour or part of an hour is $2. How much would it cost to park 4.5 hours

Add 1+1.50+6
Since there is 2.5 hrs left over beside the first 2hrs parked, multiply 2 by 3 (because of the additional half hr ) to get answer
