So first isolate the x by adding 7 to both sides to get 3^x = 11
Now, since there’s no common base, change the equation to a logarithmic equation.
log3 11 = x (the 3 is a subscript)
Now we can do log 11 / log 3 to get x. Hopefully that works for the exact answer.
