\huge \boxed{\sf (-6,-2.5)}

\sf Midpoint \ formula:\\\\ \displaystyle (x_m, y_m) = (x_1+x_2)/(2), (y_1+y_2)/(2) \\\\\\ (-11+-1)/(2), (4+-9)/(2)=(-12)/(2), (-5)/(2) =-6,-2.5

The midpoint formula can determine the midpoint of a line segment given its endpoints. The midpoint is the location midway between two endpoints, as the name may have already implied. Divide the total of the x-values by 2 and the same for y-values.
