Answer:
Odysseus was a heroic character of Homer's epic poem the Odyssey. During the Trojan War, he was the one who devised the Trojan Horse plan, which took place in Homer's "Iliad." One of his greatest stories in Odyssey was when a cyclops had trapped him and his crew in a cave with the intention to eat them. He had gotten the cyclops intoxicated from wine he had on hand and told it that his name was "Nobody" so when he attacked the intoxicated cyclops it began yelling out "nobody is attacking me" so no one came to help it. Afterwards, they hid behind the cyclops' large sheep and left. This also led to Poseidon hating him because the cyclops was one of his children or descendant.
Athena had taken a liking to him though, since he was smart and good in battle. There was also a point where some of his crew was turned into pigs when they had come to the island where the sorceress Circe lived.
