Answer:

#2 is 2^-9. #3 is 1/6^15. #4 is 10^8.

Explanation:

Remember that with exponents, division is subtraction, and multiplcation is addition.

So for the first problem, 2^-5 / 2^4 is really:

2^-5-4

This is simply 2^-9 power.

Next we have (6^-3)^5. I dont mean to confuse you, so just remember. When, and ONLY when and exponent is INSIDE parentherse, can it be multplilied by another exponent that is OUTSIDE of the parenthesese. SO we can write this as:

6^-3*5

This equals:

6^-15

Which can further be simplyfied to:

1/6^15

Countinuing on we have 10^-12 / 10^-20. Since we are dividing, we subtract to exponenets. So we can write this as:

10^-12 - -20

This is just 10^8 power.

Hope this helps! :)
