y = 55°

Explanation:

The exterior angle of a triangle is equal to the sum of the 2 opposite interior angles.

100° is an exterior angle of the triangle , then

y + 45° = 100° ( subtract 45° from both sides )

y = 55°

Angle x must be 80° because 180°-100°= 80°
Sum of triangles Angela are 180°
So y=180°-80°-45°
Y=55°
