At the start of her shift at Midtown Bakery, Megan made some batches of cookies that called for 3 cups of flour each. Then, she used the remaining 8 cups of flour she had to make a pan of muffins. She started her shift with a 20-cup bag of flour.

Which equation can you use to find how many batches of cookies, x, Megan made?

Please I'll make you brainilest

The total flour is 20 cups. Each cookie batch (x) took 3 cups, so 3x is 3 cups x number of cookie batches. Then she had 8 cups leftover. So 3x + 8 = 20.
Then solve for x, by first subtracting 8 from both sides to get 3x = 12, then divide both sides by 3 to get x by itself to get x = 4.
So Megan made 4 batches of cookies.

Write the equation
3x+8=20

Subtract 8 both sides

3x/12

Solution

X=4 and choose the equation I provided up top
