Answer: (x,y)=(1/2,-3/2)

Answer:

4x-2y=-1 multiply by 3

5x-3y=7 multiply by 3

12x+6y=-3

10x-6y=14 add them

so =22x=11

x=1/2

5(1/2)-3y=7

2.5-3y=7 take 2.5 to the other side

-3y=4.5

y=-3/2

therefore x=1/2 and y=-3/2
