Directions - Use the midpoint formula to find the midpoint of the coordinates:

(8, 2) and (0, 10)

Hello! Basically, you need to start with writing down the midpoint formula. This makes it SO much easier. The midpoint formula is (x₁ + x₂)/2, (y₁ + y₂)/2. Once you’ve done that, label your points. What I mean by this is: 8= x₁ , 2= y₁ , 0= x₂ , 10= y₂. NOW, you can plug it in! Once you plug it in, it should look like this: 8+0/2=4 , 2+10/2=6. Thus, the midpoint of these two points is….drumroll please… (4,6)! Hope this helps!
