A 5 (x-5)= 140
B Y-5 = -5 (x+8)
C 15x + 3y=10
D 18x - 3y = 10

Answer: B

Explanation:

1) y-5- -5 (x+8)

2) y-5= -5x-40 (use distributive property to multiply -5 by x and 8)

3) you will find your slope just by distributing (-5x-40), no need to say the new equation, but if you would like to know the new equation if you were to solve all this... it is y=-5x-35
