Q1: 10

Q3: 23

Explanation:

2, 4, 9, 11, 12, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24, 28, 32

Median is middle number/average of the 2 middle numbers. 16 + 18 = 34/2 = 17

First/lower quartile/Q1 = middle of lower half of ordered data set

= 9 + 11 = 20/2 = 10

Third/upper quartile/Q3 = middle of upper half of ordered data set

= 22 + 24 = 46/2 = 23
