How to find the The slope of the line

Formula = Δy/Δx

= 720 - 600 / 3 - 0

= 120 / 3

= 40

The equation of a line is given as y - y₁ = m(x - x₁)

m = 40 which is the slope.

When we substitute we have

y - 600 = 40(x - 0)

We have to substitute x as 0

y - 600 = 0

y = 600

therefore y = 40x + 600

This implies that 40x - y + 600 = 0

c. y - 600 = 40x

g(x) - 600 = 4x

hence

g(x) = 4x + 600

d. x is 7 days

g(x) = 4*7 + 600

= 628

The balance in the bank after 7 days is 628Rs
