3/4 • 10 = 30/4 = 7 2/4

So if one batch needs 3/4 of a cup and she needs to make 10 batches then you multiply how many batches by how many water cups required for one batch:

3/4 • 10 = 30/4 = 7 2/4

So she needs seven and two fourths cups of water.
