(-2)/(3)

Explanation:

An order pair is in the form (x y). The slope is the change in y over the change in x. From the 2 points our y's are 2 and 4. From the 2 points our x's are 1 and -2. to find the change you subtract.


(2-4)/(1 - -2) =
(-2)/(1 + 2)
(-2)/(3)
