please help!!! need answers tonight !!! extremely overweight elephant at the zoo is put on a diet, and the elephant begins losing weight at a constant rate per week. After 4 weeks on the diet, the elephant weighs 15,250 pounds. After 11 weeks on the diet, the ele- phant weighs 13,353 pounds. The zookeepers want to make a graph representing the elephant's weight over time. What would be the slope of the line they graph?

Answer:

Explanation:

The slope of the line would be -1897/7 or -271

because according to the two points that I could get from this equation are (4, 15250) and (11, 13353). To find the slope you would use the slope formula which would be y2-y1 over x2-x1. When you set up your equation you get 13353-15250 over 11-4 getting -1897/7 and then when you would simplify it you'd get -271.

I also solved this online using a slope calculator and that calculator got the same answer...If wrong, I'm sorry. This was how I was taught to find the slope of an equation/graph...
