According to the graph that I graphed online, the point (-8,9) is a solution to the linear inequality. To find out that, (-8,9) is a solution you have to look if that point is shaded if it is shaded then it is a solution to the inequality.

(-8 is the x variable and 9 is the y variable, to find out if that is a point you look for the -8 in the graph but you would look down on the the x side and then you go up looking for a 9.)
