PLS HELP!! Earth is the only planet in the Solar System with significant amounts of

oxygen in its atmosphere. How did it get there initially? How does it get there today?

Answer:

Due to microbial life 1 billion years ago, early algae used photosynthesis to make food and energy. This lead to mass die-offs, but it replaced the toxic atmosphere with oxygen for more complex organisms
