Answer: Mason biked 29.51 more miles on Sunday than on Saturday.

Explanation:

We can use the equation, d = rt.

On Saturday, Mason biked 1.5 hours at a speed of 11.9 mph

r = 11.9

t = 1.5

==> d = (11.9 * 1.5)

==> d = 17.85

Mason biked 17.85 miles on Saturday

On Sunday, he biked 3.2 hours at a speed of 14.8 mph.

r = 14.8

t = 3.2

==> d = (14.8 * 3.2)

==> d = 47.36

Mason biked 47.36 miles on Sunday.

To find out how much further he biked on Sunday than on Saturday, we can subtract the initial value from the end value;

47.36 - 17.85

==> 29.51

Mason biked 29.51 more miles on Sunday than on Saturday.
