We need to find a common multiple, for the denominator. Let us choose 6, so we do not have to deal with large numbers.

Note that we do not change 4/6, since it already has a denominator of 6.

==> 3/6 + 4/6 + 4/6

Add;

==> 11/6

3/6 + 4/6 + 4/6 equal to 11/6
