Answer:

5, 8.7, 2/3

Explanation:

for for positive x value put the value in the positive X function which is x because x>0 and for the negative x value put the value in Negative X function which is -x because x<0

5 is positive

so x=5

when x is -8.7 is negative

so put the value in negative function

-(-8.7) = 8.7

same for last one -2/3

-(-2/3) = 2/3
