Enzymes can be taken as biological and chemical catalysts which are proteins in biology and certain chemicals in chemistry.
They lower the activation energy in chemistry and in biology the speed up the chemical reaction while leaving the active site the same and they can be used again. Eg:- Amylase, protease, lipase are a few examples in biology and in chemistry there is iron, Vanadium(v) oxide and much more.
