Since angle 9 is 110 degrees, that means that angle 10 must be 70 degrees, because the angle is on a straight line, so the angles must add to be 180 degrees, because they are supplementary angles. Since p ll q (p is parallel to q), that means that angle 1 is 110 degrees and angle 2 is 70 degrees. Because angles 1, 2, 5, and 6 have to add to be 360 degrees and angles 1+2 equals 180 degrees, that means that 5+6 equals 180 degrees as well. Angle 6 equals 110 degrees so that means angle 5 is 70 degrees. On the other side, angle 8 is 70 degrees, and since the two angles are the same, p and q are the same.
