How can I work on my poetry and get better at it? I'd like someone's opinion on this short one that I wrote:

The strongest people were once the weakest
The wisest are conflicted still
The most broken people smile the brightest
Until the end of time, they will

Answer:

hmm it was pretty good honestly and it carried a message which is great!

Step-by-step explanation:

for a good poem you need a

-message- without a message then the story(the poem) will be boring and it wont work

-it DOESNT ALWAYS have to rhyme!- not all poems need to have a rhyme to be exciting or funny! a lot of poems are actually better without rhyme!

- go with your first instinct- by this i mean go with a plan and make a story and stick with it(make it work)

-u can have plan b's but stick with the A- the plan A is what you original thought of and you thought it was pretty good! thats why u made it an A right?...

-never give up ad make things work!-

Answer:

well you should say why at the end, "Until the end of time, they will"

Step-by-step explanation:

they will what? good rhyming

heres mine:

I give you my heart that is filled with pain

Once so pure

Once so sane

Give me my freedom

Don’t you dare tame

Something so precious

Not that lame

Once you change it

It will never be the same

Just know that

Life isn’t a game
