The total surface area of the square pyramid is 240 square meters. Dividing this by the four identical triangular faces gives an area of 60 square meters for each face. Here option C is correct.

Identify the total surface area:

We are given that the total surface area of the square pyramid is 240 square meters.

2. Recognize the number of faces:

You correctly pointed out that there are four identical triangular faces on a square pyramid.

3. Divide the total area by the number of faces:

To find the area of each face, we simply divide the total surface area by the number of faces:

Area of each face = Total surface area / Number of faces

Area of each face = 240 square meters / 4

Area of each face = 60 square meters

Therefore, each of the four triangular faces in the square pyramid has an area of 60 square meters. Here option C is correct.
