some people say 11/5 is -2.20 but when i turned 11/5 into decimal it became -2.2 then why is it -2.20 and also shouldn’t -2.2 be greater then -2.12

11/5 = 2.2 or 2.20, because 2.2 = 2.20 = 2.200

You can add as many 0's after the last digit to the right of the decimal.

2.2 = 2 + 2/10

2.20 = 2 + 20/100

2.200 = 2 + 200/1000

But all of those last fractions are equivalent, since 2/10 = 20/100 = 200/1000.

Now as for the second part, -2.2 vs -2.12, you have to remember that "greater than" means "to the right of" on a number line. If we graph these on a number line, showing 0 as a reference, we'd have the first picture that's attached.

Because we're dealing with negative numbers, -2.2 is further from 0 than -2.12. And since everything on the negative side of the number line is sort of "backwards" from the positive side, we end up with -2.12 being to the right of -2.2.
