y - 5 = 2/3(x + 12)
y - 5 = 2/3x + 8
y = 2/3x + 13
First, I did the distributive property by multiplying 2/3 with 12 to get 24/3. I simplified further by dividing it by 3 and got 8.
Next, I added 5 to both sides, and 8 + 5 is 12, so that’s the y intercept!
