Think of one wild plant or animal species that lives near your home. Do you think that organism is native to

the local habitat? If it is, what steps could you take to protect it? If it is not, how would removing it affect
other organisms in the area?

For me, deer is a very common animal in my area, as it is native to the habitat. Some things I could do to protect them is to prevent myself and others from littering, pick up trash, and fight to ban hunting on deer

For me it’s easier to think of native animals so think of an animal that lives by you. For me rabbits are very common were I live. Native animals are animals that could live in your back yard or somewhere near your backyard and non native animals are the animals at the zoo. You could think of either one! You could protect the habitats by usui house solar energy, picking up trash, using cars that run on battery, using sweaters when it’s cold instead of Turing on the heat, ect!
