I know this is such a basic answer, but you truly have to be yourself. Don’t keep a fake persona in hopes of getting a boy. Perhaps find interest in things he may also enjoy, but don’t be too fake. To impress a boy visually, you may want to fix up your hair, or maybe put a little more thought into your outfits.
