-1.5(4-n)+2.8
(Another way to see it is)
-1.5(4) + -1.5(-n) +2.8

Keep in mind that two negatives multiplied make a positive

= -6 +1.5n + 2.8

Then we will add

-6 + 2.8 = 2.2

We bring back the 1.5n

Answer: 2.2 +1.5n

You can leave it like this or if you keep going (not sure if the math after this is correct):

2.2 + 1.5n (turn it into a fraction)
—- ——
1.5 1.5 (1.5n/1.5 cancel each other out, leaving 2.2/1.5)

2.2 divided by 1.5 would equal 1.46666666667 and a simpler way to put it would be just 1.4

To check our work all we do is multiply:
1.46666666667 • 1.5 = 2.2

Answer: 1.4

Answer:

-3.2 - 1.5n

Explanation:

-1.5(4 - n) + 2.8

= -6 - 1.5n + 2.8 (simply)

= -3.2 - 1.5n (add)
