Please help, 50 points!!! If f(x)=25-x^2 and g(x)=x+5 what is (f/g)(x)? Write your awnser in simpilest form. When f(x):=25-x^2 and g(x)=x+5, (f/g)(x)= ???????

Answer:

(f/g)(x) = 5-x

Explanation:

f(x)=25-x², g(x)=x+5

then (f/g)(x) = f(x) / g(x)

= 25-x² / x+5


=(\left(5+x\right)\left(5-x\right))/(x+5) ................simplify here


=(\left(x+5\right)\left(5-x\right))/(x+5) ................. (x+5) cancel outs

= 5-x ..............we have (5-x) left and this is the answer.
