Pam kicked a soccer ball down the field. Part of the balls path including its highest point is described by the function below, where f(x) is the height of the ball in feet. According to the function what is the ball's maximum height and feet. Use only digits 0 through 9 to enter the height.

Answer:

Below

Explanation:

F(x)=1/12x^2+2x for this quadratic , max value will occur at x= -b/2a

= - 2 / (2* 1/12) = -12

Plug in -12 to find the max height

1/12 (-12)^2 + 2 * -12 = -12 ft

I think you have messed up the equation? maybe 1/2 x^2 rather than 1/12 x^2 ???
