Explanation:

if you have 3/4 you divide the part, 3, by the whole, 4

3 ÷ 4 = 0.75

then multiply 0.75 by 100, 75, then add a percentage sign: 75%

For example if you have a decimal, let’s say 0.225, you multiply it by 100 and that would equal to 22.5. This means that your percent is 22.5%
