Cold War was the conflict between Soviet Union and United States, it consisted of many smaller conflicts. For example, the Vietnam War, after the Vietnam War finished we may see that socialist government there declines and Vietnam is still the third-world country, in some way because of Cold War. Korea was also divided into 2 main parts during Cold War. The prosperous capitalistic South and slowly declining communist North, that’s also an effect of Cold War. Soviet Union also supported Mao in China which led to quick creation of strong communist government in People’s Republic of China.
