Explanation:

using the recursive relation
a_(n) =
a_(n-1) + 3 and a₁ = 6 , then

a₂ = a₁ + 3 = 6 + 3 = 9

a₃ = a₂ + 13= 9 + 3 = 12

a₄ = a₃ + 3 = 12 + 3 = 15
