During the day, a patient had her temperature measured at 37.3C, 38C, 37.8C and 38.5C. So what was her average temperature?

to find the average, you first add together all of the numbers. 37.3 + 38 + 37.8 + 38.5 = 151.6

then you take this sum and divide it by however many numbers you added together, in this case that’s 4

151.6 / 4 = 37.9
