y-intercept: (0, 12)

Explanation:

1.) convert the equation to y=mx+b format

4x + 5y= 60

5y = -4x + 60

y = -4/5x + 12

2.) Now we know that "b" in the equation is the y-intercept. 12 is b so the y-intercept is 12.

3.) To find x intercept we will plug in y=0.

0 = -4/5x + 12

-12 = -4/5x

15 = x
