Answer:

Keeping the workspace clean and orgainzed can help from causing injuries. If the workspace isn't clean, it would be easy to trip over things and break something. Washing hands properly after using the bathroom can also help to prevent diseases as they spread through human contact. Not washing your hands and touching someone's desk could get them really sick. To prevent deaths in the workspace, it never hurts to check your desk/chair. Sometimes a screw or two may be loose and it could be dangerous as the desk could collapse and cause some serious damage. Accidents and injuries can be avoided and productivity improved where good housekeeping is a daily occurrence. A tidy facility often means a safe facility. Conduct regular safety inspections. Make sure all machinery and equipment safeguards are in place and in good working condition.

A few ways to keep everybody safe in the working area;

Incorporate a safety and wellness plan.

Conduct pre-placement physicals.

Educate employees and management staff.

Research safety vulnerabilities.

Provide protection equipment.

Have adequate staffing levels.

Don't take shortcuts.

Inspect and maintain all company vehicles.
