answer : slope is -2/3

line should look like

y = mx + b

slope is m or the number next to x

slope refers to the rate or speed of something

make 2x + 3y = 12 look like y = mx + b

2x + 3y = 12

3y = -2x + 12

y = (-2x + 12)/3

y = -2/3x + 12/3

y = -2/3x + 4

slope is -2/3

b is called the y intercept

b is +4 which is where the line passes thru in the y axis at (0,4)

when x is 0 but y is not then that means the graph is not proportional
