Explanation:

to convert -7/15 into a decimal you'd divide.

you'd set up your equation with -7 inside and 15 outside.

you'd add a zero on top or on the side depending how you set your equation and then you'd put a zero with -7 making it -70.

15 x 4 is 60 so then you'd put a 4 on top or on the side and then when you'd solve you'd get 100, 15*6 is 90. Subtract 100 from 90 getting 10 and then it would just repeat making the decimal. But because the 7 was a negative your answer is negative too.
