Answer: 8/3

Explanation:

In this equation, x=-2

so

f(-2)=-1/6 (1/4)^(-2)

(1/4)^(-2)=4^2=16

f(-2)=-1/6 16

I am going to assume that it's (1/6)*(1/4)^x meaning:

f(-2)=16/6

=8/3

I hope I assumed correctly.

Answer:

  • f(-2) = - 8/3

---------------------------

Given function:

  • f(x) = - 1/6 (1/4)ˣ

Find f(-2), by plugging in the value of x:

  • f(-2) = - 1/6 (1/4)⁻² = - 1/6 (4²) = - 16/6 = - 8/3
