10% of 40 is 4% because to find 10% you divide 40 by 10 which is 4. Therefore, 44 is 10% more than 40 because 10% is equal to 4!

The answer should be 44 as 10% of 40 is 4 so 10% more would be the adding of 10% of 4 to 4
